Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by The Credit Repair Guy ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Description of Services

The Credit Repair Guy provides credit repair services, which include analyzing your credit reports, identifying potentially inaccurate, unverifiable, or unfair negative items, and disputing those items with the credit bureaus and/or creditors on your behalf in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and other applicable laws.

Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a legal resident of the United States
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself
  • Provide copies of your credit reports from all three bureaus
  • Respond promptly to our requests for information or documents
  • Notify us of any changes to your contact information
  • Review all correspondence we send you regarding your case
  • Not engage in any fraudulent activity or misrepresentation

Service Limitations

You understand and acknowledge that:

  • We cannot guarantee specific results or credit score improvements
  • Results vary depending on individual circumstances
  • We can only dispute items that may be inaccurate, unverifiable, or unfair
  • Credit bureaus have 30-45 days to investigate disputes under the FCRA
  • Some items may be verified as accurate and remain on your report
  • We do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice

Fees and Payment

Our fees are disclosed before you enroll in our services. By enrolling, you authorize us to charge the agreed-upon fees according to the payment schedule in your service agreement. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as specified in our cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your services at any time by contacting us in writing. In accordance with the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), you have the right to cancel within three business days of signing your service agreement for a full refund.

Your Rights Under Federal Law

Under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), you have the right to:

  • Cancel your contract within 3 business days
  • Dispute inaccurate information directly with credit bureaus yourself, for free
  • Sue a credit repair company that violates the CROA
  • Seek damages if you are harmed by a violation

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of The Credit Repair Guy and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Client Portal

If you are provided access to our client portal, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Credit Repair Guy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of our services.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Credit Repair Guy, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
